A pair of Canadian Geese showed off their three newly hatched babies bringing them up to the temple and walking around and swimming on the pond. Before the drought, there was a pair of geese who nested every year on the small island in the pond, but they left when the pond dried up. Maybe they have now returned? Kuan Yin Bodhisattva Great Compassion Empowerment Ceremony Held in North Carolina

A Kuan Yin Bodhisattva Great Compassion Empowerment was recently held at the Heartwood Retreat Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This is the second time this empowerment has been given in English. Many of those participating experienced profound encounters from the Great Compassionate One and found old illnesses and pains disappear and emotional blockages released. Meditation Retreat and Seminar on Supernormal Powers & Qi-Gong Held at Temple

Steam rises from the food being served for lunch at a very short retreat and seminar held at the Holy Vajrasana Temple and Retreat Center on February 3-5. Thirty-Day Retreat at Temple

The Xuanfa Five Vidyas Seminary offered its first thirty-Day Formal retreat starting November 15. This time it was entirely in Chinese with a local translator providing the interface between the Abbot and the participants. The day started with chanting the Morning Service, followed by an Oryoki Breakfast.
