Recently, other Kuan Yin Bodhisattva’s Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assemblies have been held in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Alhambra, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other locations. Many people experienced amazing healings and blessings including even seeing the Great Bodhisattva at these events. These were most auspicious events that had not been held for more than ten years. After reading the experiences shared above by a few of those attending the Dharma Assemblies, it should be noted that this empowerment was not just for Buddhists, but the empowerment did depend on the person receiving it abiding by three precepts: doing good, not doing anything evil, and helping liberate other living beings. Keeping these three precepts is a requirement to both receive and maintain the state of the empowerment. The offerings made at these Dharma Assemblies go to help free captive animals and incarcerated humans from suffering. May all living beings–all are relations–be free and happy!
