As students performed skits and other shows in honor of H.H.Wan Ko Yisinubu’s birthday, the beautiful jacaranda tree over the veranda began raining. Hanging in this tree was a very large thangka of the thousand-armed Kuan Yin Bodhisattva that had been specially requested from the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Tibet to celebrate His Holiness’s birthday.
