A seven-day international conference was held in Taipei, Taiwan to discuss “Distinguishing Correct and Erroneous Buddhism, Buddhist Studies, and Buddha-dharma.” More than two thousand rinpoches, Huo-Fos (lamas), dharma teachers, holy monks, and great virtuous ones (laypeople) attended from thirty-three countries including America, Australia, Bengal, Bhutan, Burma, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
After reviewing and studying Master Wan Ko Yee’s (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s) 2,958 audio tapes, 137 video tapes and publications, the conference representatives unanimously recognized that Master Wan Ko Yee has indeed made supreme achievement in Buddhism and has truly attained the state of “Mastery of both Esoteric and Exoteric Buddhism” and has “Perfect Possession of the Five Vidyas (healing, art and technology, writing and speech, logic or causality, and inner science).” After acknowledging that Master Wan Ko Yee had the full qualifications of a Dharma King and represented the true Buddha-dharma, they conferred on him the title “Authentic Buddhism Master,” a role model for people in the world. The activities of other prominent Buddhist teachers were also reviewed. It was determined that several were holding incorrect views and maligning the Buddha and the Dharma and fooling living beings with their false teachings.
