Students gathered at the Holy Vajrasana Temple near Sanger, California to hear and discuss the preliminary translation of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha’s Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra this week. Previous classes had met to study the meaning of the title of the Prajna Parami-ta Heart Sutra, learning the meaning and significance of each word or character in the title. This week the class began with the commentary by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha on the Heart Sutra itself and continued to the commentary on “No ignorance and also no ending of ignorance, up to and including no old age and death and also no ending of old age and death.”
