A pair of Canadian Geese showed off their three newly hatched babies bringing them up to the temple and walking around and swimming on the pond. Before the drought, there was a pair of geese who nested every year on the small island in the pond, but they left when the pond dried up. Maybe they have now returned? Another pair of ducks also have ducklings on the lake and the Red-Wing Blackbirds are everywhere. Yellow Monkey Flowers and other wild flowers are everywhere.
