With most of the construction work on the temple finished, it is time to start on the landscaping and paving. The first project is to install a cedar moon gate and arbor. When the wood is wet you can smell the cedar.

The Getty Museum, at 1200 Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles, currently has an outstanding exhibition of artifacts and reproductions of ancient Buddhist art taken from a collection of caves on the western edge of the Gobi Desert, near the oasis town of Dunhuang, China.
