MORNING SERVICE

If you recite this when you arise, you will accomplish all your aims for that day.

If you recite it when you go to sleep, you will experience excellent dreams.

If you recite it before you go to war, you will be victorious.

If you recite it when you begin an activity, what you wish for will increase.

If you recite it daily, longevity, glory, fame, prosperity, auspiciousness, happiness and excellence will all be accomplished abundantly in accordance with your wishes.

All harmful actions and obscurations will be purified.

Both the higher realms and the excellent Buddhahood — all aims will be accomplished.

This was 
 said by the Supreme Victor (The Buddha).

Plegaria a Los Ocho Nobles a, Uspiciosos Que Traen La Dicha

Si recitas estos versos antes de comenzar una actividad,

 es seguro que lograras lo que deseas, por consiguiente,

no importa el porque, manten esta plegaria en tu mente.

[OM] Rindo homenaje a todos los Budas, al Dharma y a la Noble Sangha,

que residen en los reinos auspiciosos de las diez direcciones,

donde toda apariencia y existencia es completamente pura.

Natural y espontáneamente perfecta. ¡Pueda todo sernos auspicioso!

Tararaja, Sthirakausha Lamadhashaya,

Shri Maitreya Lanka, Shri Varashubhakirti,

Sarva Shayodara Kirtiman,

Shri Sumeru Vadaya Kaushalakirti,

Tan sólo escuchar sus nombres hace que se incrementen los auspicios y éxitos!

[Los Ocho Bodhisattvas]

El joven Manjusri, el glorioso Vajrapani,

el poderoso Avalokiteshvara, el protector Maitreya,

Kshitigarbha, Sarvanivara Navishkambhim,

Akashagarbha y el mas noble Samantabhadra.

La flor utpala, el vajra, el loto blanco, el árbol-naga,

la joya, la luna, la espada y el sol.

Son los supremos que conceden auspicios y éxitos,

que elegantemente sostienen sus emblemas. Postraciones a los ocho Bodhisattvas.

[Las Ocho Diosas de la Buena Fortuna]

La sombrilla mas preciosa, los mas auspiciosos peces dorados, el ánfora que

colma todos los deseos, la exquisita flor kamala, caracola de fama y gloria,

el glorioso nudo de la prosperidad, la bandera de la eterna victoria y la rue da toda poderosa.

Sostienen los ocho símbolos mas preciosos, son los creadores de dicha,

que hacen ofrendas a los Budas de todas las direcciones y todos los tiempos.

¡Tan sólo pensar de sus cualidades esenciales, hace que el éxito crezca más y más!

Postraciones a las ocho Diosas Auspiciosas, las Diosas de

belleza, guirnaldas, música, danzas, flores, incienso, luz y perfumes.

[Los Ocho Protectores]

Mahabrahma, Shambu, Narayana,

Sahasrajna, los Cuatro Reyes Guardianes: Dritirashtra,

Virudhaka, Virupaksha el Reyes de los Nagas;

Vaishravana. Cada uno sostiene un divino emblema:

la rueda, el tridente, el dardo, el vajra, la vina, la espada,

la stupa y la bandera de la Victoria!

¡Ellos hacen que lo auspicioso y positivo crezca en los tres reinos!

Postraciones a los ocho Guardianes del mundo que hacen que esto suceda.

Que la tarea que ahora comenzamos se encuentre con la siempre creciente plenitud y éxito.

Una vez pacificados todos los obstáculos e influencias

negativas, lograremos buena fortuna,

felicidad y paz!

Si lo recitas al levantarte, veras todos tus propósitos del día realizarse.

Si lo recitas al acostarte, tendras excelentes sueños.

Si lo recitas antes de ir a la guerra, saldras victorioso.

Si lo recitas antes de comenzar una actividad, lo que deseas se incrementara.

Si lo recitas diariamente, tendras larga vida, gloria, fama, prosperidad, auspiciosidad, dicha y excelencia, y el sentido de nuestros deseos será realizado tal como lo pensamos.

Todas nuestras negatividades y oscuridades serán purificadas.

Todos los objetivos se lograran en los reinos superiores y en la excelente hermandad budista.

Esto fue dicho por el Supremo Victorioso (Buda).

Great Compassion Mantra (Mahakaruna Dharani )

觀無常    Contemplation of Impermanence

All conditional phenomena are like a dream, an illusion, a bubble, a shadow, morning dew, or a flash of lightening.

All sentient beings will definitely die.

All inanimate things will definitely perish.

This principle also applies to my body, which is composed of the four great elements.

I will be separated from my family and friends one day.

Time is pushing my age forward, early youth is followed by the robust years of life, which is followed by old age, which is followed by death.

Sounds or flowing water never return after they are gone.

The thoughts and words of this very moment have already become impermanent.

I will come closer and closer to death.

Death has no set time to it.

I could go to the next world at any moment simply because my breathing stops.

I can take no worldly possessions whatsoever with me to the next world.

These principles apply to my very own body.

I am intent upon leaving the cycle of reincarnation.

三聚淨戒       The Three Groups of Purifying Precepts

I vow to cut off all evil within me.  There will be no evil that I will not cut off.

I vow to practice all types of goodness.  There will be no type of goodness that I will not practice.

I vow to save all living beings.  There will be no living being that I will not save.

十善     Ten Good Characteristics

I will observe the following:

No killing, free captive living beings.

No stealing, perform charity.

No debauchery, practice chastity.

No lying, speak truth.

No profanity, straight talk.

No double-tongue talk, bring about peace & accord.

No abusive talk, gentle words.

No greed, correct view.

No anger, loving-kindness and compassion.

No ignorance, rather know everything is a matter of causes & conditions.

不杀生而行放生。

不偷盗而行施舍。

不邪淫而修梵行。

不妄语而说实语。

不恶口而说柔和语。

不两舌而说调解语。

不绮语而说直质语

不贪而修不净观。

不嗔而修慈悲观。

不痴而修因缘观。

Bù shā shēng ér xíng fang shēng。

Bù tōu dào ér xíng shī shě。

Bù xié yín ér xíng fàn xíng。

Bù wàng yǔ ér shuō shí yǔ。

Bù è kǒu ér shuō róu hé yǔ。

Bù liǎng shé ér shuō tiáo jiě yǔ。

Bú qǐ yǔ ér shuō zhí zhì yǔ。

Bù tān ér xiū bù jìng guān。

Bù chēn ér xiū cí bēi guān。

Bù chī ér xiū yīn yuán guān。

[學佛     Learning from Buddha Reflection]

Take a few moments to examine yourself and how well you have put into practice what you learned from the Buddha.

用一點時間檢查你自己並檢查你在把學佛中的所學付諸實踐上做得怎樣.

[Yòng yīdiǎn shíjiān jiǎnchá nǐ zìjǐ bìng jiǎnchà nǐ zài bǎ xué Fó zhòngdì suǒxué fùzhū shíjiàn shàng zuòdé zěnyàng。]

       十愿        Ten Vows

First is to worship and respect all Buddhas.

Second is to make praises to the Thus Come Ones.

Third is to practice profoundly the giving of offerings.

Fourth is to repent and reform all karmic hindrances.

Fifth is to rejoice and follow in merit and virtue.

Sixth is to request that the dharma wheel be turned.

Seventh is to request that the Buddhas remain in the world.

Eighth is to always follow the Buddhas’ teaching.

Ninth is to constantly accord with all living beings.

Tenth is to transfer all merit and virtue universally.

Homage to all Buddhas of the ten quarters and three times;

All Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas, Maha Prajna Paramita!

All beings of the four births in the nine worldly realms,

May they together turn to the dharma method of the Pure Land.

Those suffering from the eight woes and the three paths below,

May they enter one and all, Amitabha’s vowing sea.

                                皈依發心        Refuge Vows

To the Buddha I return and rely, vowing that all living beings profoundly understand the great way and bring forth the Bodhi Mind.

To the Dharma I return and rely, vowing that all living beings deeply enter the sutra and have wisdom like the sea.

To the sangha I return and rely, vowing that all living beings apply love and compassion to all.

                                                功德迴向          Dedication of Merit

Let us dedicate the merit or our chanting and praises to living beings everywhere in the six realms of existence and silently to whomever we want to receive special merit:

讓我們把我們念誦的功德迴向給六道各處的眾生並默默迴向給我們希望收到特別功德的人：[Ràng wǒmen bǎ wǒmen niànsòng de gōngdé huí xiàng gěi liùdào gèchù(r) de zhòngshēng bìng mòmò huí xiàng gěi wǒmen xīwàng shōudào tèbié gōngdé de rén:]

May the merit accumulated from this practice,

Benefit all beings equally.

May all beings increase their fortune and wisdom,

And may they always have peace and auspiciousness.
