About Us

The Holy Vajrasana Temple and Retreat Center is part of the Xuanfa Institute a nonprofit international religious organization founded by Zhaxi Zhuoma to propagate the correct Buddha-dharma that can liberate living beings from the sufferings of this world and enable those who practice this Buddha-dharma and cultivate themselves in accord with the dharma to realize the good fortune and wisdom needed to eventually become a Buddha. Xuanfa Institute also administers the Learning from Buddha Seminary, where you can study the discourses of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and other Buddhist topics.
