Yosemite National Park is only 68 miles from the Holy Vajrasana Temple and Retreat Center, but it takes almost 2 hours to reach the park boundaries and probably another hour to reach Yosemite Valley and its many waterfalls and trails. Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks are a little closer and not quite so popular. Here is a photo of General Sherman, a Giant Sequoia Tree at Sequoia National Park and the largest tree in the world. During the summer months the traffic to these parks and the limited two lane roads to get there can be challenging.
The temple is also located near “The Blossom Trail” where vinyards and orchards full of fruit and nut trees burst with blossoms every spring. Special motor and bike tours enable visitors to enjoy the color and fragrance of orange, almond, peach, pistachio, etc. blossoms every spring and taste the fruit in the fall. Hundreds of acres of orchards and vinyards bloom every spring around the Holy Vajrasana Temple & Retreat Center. Click for more Photos.
