It must also be noted that the translation we will be using has not been approved for release and most probably contains errors. Since this is a most holy and powerful dharma, it must be seen as a reference document to introduce the concepts and principles with the understanding that they may be subject to revision and correction. You are to share what you learn and your notes on these classes with NO ONE!!! You may however, use these concepts to deepen your own practice and cultivation.

HOMEWORK:  If you want to take XFVU I-059 for credit you will need to let Zhaxi Zhuoma know so she can register you at the Xuanfa Five Vidya University (XFVU), listen to the three discourses at least twice, take notes, prepare questions for debate, and make arrangements for the debate after class on Saturday, December 15 or at some other time. You will also need to prepare a summary for each discourse that includes the essence and key principles contained in the discourse. These will be the key principles that you will apply to your cultivation and analyze in your journal. This aspect of the class and other requirements you can do online after the retreat and classes.  CLICK for more information on the methodology used in these classes and http://xfvu.org/ for more information on the Xuanfa Five Vidyas University.

Any students who understand Chinese should listen to the three special discourses studied here from the Silver Box at least two times before taking notes. Because it is so difficult for non-Chinese speakers to be able to hear these discourses, they have been given a dispensation so as to be able to start taking notes immediately. More times is definitely better.
