Trench in front is for electrical conduit that will connect the sump pump for the septic system. Currently it runs off an extension cord.
The old brick planter has been removed and the rocks from the front of the temple moved to fill in septic tank.
The new addition that will contain the ADA bathrooms will go where the foundation is exposed. The old septic tank has been partially filled in and requires a county inspection tomorrow before the contractors can continue. Today they removed the brick planter and irrigation system next to the house. They also dug the footers for the Tibetan “Flaming Jewel” posts that will support the entry porch. Spencer spent the weekend cleaning out most of the rocks next to the temple and in the flower garden and moving them next to the old septic tank. They will be used along with the broken bricks to fill in the old tank. We are now ready to begin this phase.
