Green Tara Appears and Advises German Disciple

Karolin, shown above with her daughter Julie, the wife of Gongjue Tuji Rinpoche of the Xuanfa Dharmazentrum (Dharma Center) in Cologne, Germany was diagnosed with a rare and very dangerous form of thyroid cancer.

Rinpoches & Golden Light Being Visit the Holy Vajrasana Temple & Retreat Center

Rinpoches affiliated with the Xuanfa Institute visited the Institute and helped with various projects to develop and maintain the site. One morning, while posing for a group photo, a very bright golden orb of light appeared, pulsated and vibrated over their heads and disappeared. It was visible to those taking photos and was captured on the digital camera, and very briefly on a video camera. It had also appeared on other photos and once outside the library window.

Visitors to The Holy Vajrasana Temple & Retreat Center

Sanger, CA: Many people from all over China, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Europe, Canada, and the US visited the Xuanfa Institute this year to see and receive the blessings of the Vajra Poles. Some returned with other family members to experience the Vajra Poles again. Three Golden Buddhas Given to Xuanfa Institute

Reba Jinbo Rinpoche and Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche flew to Las Vegas to bring back three magnificent golden statues of ancient buddhas–Shakyamuni Buddha, Manjushri Bodhisattva, and Kuan Yin Bodhisattva. End of Year Event at Xuanfa Institute

Students visited Zhaxi Zhuoma and the Xuanfa Institute to work on many projects including repairing the fence that surrounds the lake. They  also explored the attic to see what could be done to remodel the Buddha Hall and found in the pictures they took that the entire attic was packed with Dharma or Vajra Wheels (orbs). Xuanfa Institute has been very fortunate to receive several outstanding gifts for the future temple and retreat center. Disciples in Beijing sent a rare antique phuba bearing the head of the Horse-Head (or Horse-necked One) Deity, Hayagriva. Students came to the Xuanfa Institute over the Labor Day weekend to visit Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche. The group worked on many projects while there. They also visited and enjoyed a picnic lunch at Yosemite National Park.

Po Lin Monastery & Big Buddha Visited

While attending the annual IBSA conference in Hong Kong, Sangha members visited the spectacular Big (Tian Tan) Buddha located at the Po Lin Monastery atop a mountain on Lantau Island next to the village of Ngong Ping. The majestic figure of the once tallest, outdoor, seated Buddha unveiled in December 1993 was cast in bronze in China.
