Kuan Yin Bodhisattva’s Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assembly in Bangkok, Thailand

A Kuan Yin Bodhisattva’s Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assembly was conducted by Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche on Sunday, December 10, at 10:00 am at a beautiful private retreat center located in the parklike suburban Nongjok District of Bangkok. The Dharma Assembly was followed by a fish release ceremony performed as part of the Kuan Yin Empowerment.

On the previous day, many attended a similar dharma assembly where volunteers received the empowerment of Kuan Yin so that they could serve as dharma protectors and help others on Sunday.

Reading in English (and translated into Thai by Kunlanat Makboon) of preliminary translations of Dharma Discourses given by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and dharma transmission was also done by the rinpoche in a charming and unique “tree house.” Chants from the Holy Vajrasana Temple Hymnal were led by the rinpoche and her senior students, Gesang Suolang from Salt Lake City, Utah, and Gongjue Tuji from Cologne, Germany early every morning.
