Suonan Ciren Rinpoche has been doing simultaneous translations of recent and older discourses given by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III while Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche also reads other translations of the Buddha’s discourses at all-day classes held at the Amitabha Buddha Temple of Compassion and Wisdom in Rosemead, California. These classes start at 8:00 am with chanting and meditation and after a brief break, continue with five to seven discourses throughout the day. Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche also reads translations of discourses every Sunday at 3:00 pm at the Vajrasana Temple and Retreat Center in Sanger, California (shown above). Time is also allowed for discussion and sharing of experiences that these discourses evoke. Both Rinpoches will continue this program at the temple in Sanger over the Labor Day Weekend starting at 7:00 pm on September 4 and ending on Monday, September 7. This intensive retreat will focus on the previously untranslated portions of the discourses given on the Trip to The East given by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in 2008. These are rare and precious opportunities for those who are unable to understand these teachings in Chinese and have proven helpful to some Chinese speakers as well.
