International Assembly of Buddhists Recognize H.H. Master Wan Ko Yee as a True Dharma King

A seven-day international conference was held in Taipei, Taiwan to discuss “Distinguishing Correct and Erroneous Buddhism, Buddhist Studies, and Buddha-dharma.” More than two thousand rinpoches, Huo-Fos (lamas), dharma teachers, holy monks, and great virtuous ones (laypeople) attended from thirty-three countries including America, Australia, Bengal, Bhutan, Burma, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.

State of California and City and County of San Francisco Proclaim March 8 as “Master Wan Ko Yee Day”

Both the State of California and the City and County of San Francisco declared March 8 to be Master Wan Ko Yee Day. The State Assembly and Senate both passed resolutions in appreciation for Master Wan Ko Yee’s outstanding service and invaluable contributions, dedication, and leadership in art, philosophy, and science and for promoting cultural exchange between the United States and China.

H.H. Master Wan Ko Yee’s Paintings Sell for Millions of Dollars

Two of H.H. Master Wan Ko Yee’s paintings were sold by competitive bid at an international auction. In May the painting of a family of lions shown above entitled “Majesty” sold for US$2,125,327. In October, “Venerable Da Li Wang (Sadapralapa)”  beat that record, going for US$2,207,912.
